Jaime Lobato (México 1984) Composer, improvisator, multimedia artist and independent curator. He made his studies in the National School of Music (Mx). He has composed music for video-art, interactive installations, electroacustic mixed pieces, dance companies, sound-poetry and multimedia performances. He have had an individual exhibition in the Experimental Space for Sound at the University Contemporary Art Museum (MUAC-UNAM). Among his proyects has collaborated with different artists from America, Africa and Europe. He is founder of the Independet Seminar of Research on Music Mathematics and Computing (SEMIMUTICAS), worked on the Cientific Visualisation Department and the Virtual Reality Observatory Ixtli in the National University of Mexico. Now he collaborates, as a researcher, with Institute of Aesthetic Research (IIE-UNAM), The Institute of Applied Mathematics and Systems Research (IIMAS-UNAM), the National Center for Research, Documentation and Musical Information (CENIDIM-INBA) and the Multimedia Center (CNA-INBA).
